What’s My Budget for Buying a Home?
The most important aspect of the home buying process is understanding the costs of the homes and your budget. To get to the right price, you’ll likely follow the guidelines of your lender. Typically, your total debt payments should not be more than 36% of your gross income. Once that monthly debt is determined (including your credit cards, student loans, car payments, etc.), we’ll figure out the maximum monthly home payment you’ll be able to handle within that remaining budget.
